How GeoLink IT Engineering LLC handles information when you browse this site, contact us, or message us on WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram. Updated September 29, 2026.
Visits and inquiries
We use the first-party gl_v cookie to recognize visits. It can remain in your browser for up to 365 days. Visit records can include the page, referrer, language, time zone, your browser details (user agent), device type, time on page, and the approximate city and network the visit came from. We look up the city and network from your IP address with a database hosted on our own AWS account, and we do not keep the IP address in visit records. If that lookup is unavailable, we ask ipapi.co for the country instead. IP geolocation by DB-IP (db-ip.com). When you submit a form, we store the contact details and information you provide to respond to your request, plus the IP address it came from to stop spam and abuse.
Services used by the site
The site uses Cloudflare Turnstile for form protection, Resend for email, Stripe for payments, and AWS for hosting and customer uploads. Marketing pages also use Google Ads measurement. Those providers process information needed to deliver their services. Card details are entered through Stripe.
Messages on WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram
When you write to GeoLink on WhatsApp, to our Facebook Page on Messenger, or to @geolinkdev on Instagram, Meta delivers your message to our server. We store your WhatsApp number, or the ID Meta assigns to your account for our Page, together with the text, images and voice notes you send and, if you arrived from one of our ads, which ad it was. On Messenger we also read your name and profile picture. On Instagram we read your name, username, profile picture, follower count, verified status and whether you and our account follow each other. We use these details only to label the conversation in our inbox and to answer you. We do not ask Meta for your gender, age or location.
Our AI assistant
An AI assistant answers messages on these channels. It runs on Claude, by Anthropic, through Amazon Web Services (Bedrock), which receives the text and images of the conversation to write each reply. WhatsApp voice notes are transcribed with AWS services. GeoLink staff can read every conversation and reply in person. If you give us your name, email or company so we can follow up, we save them as a contact request, and our team receives an email summary of the conversation.
Where it is stored and for how long
Conversations and contact requests are stored in our database (Neon) and images and audio in AWS storage. We keep them until you ask us to delete them. We do not sell this information, and we share it only with the providers named on this page, who process it to deliver their service to us.
Admin and customer files
Administrator access uses a separate session cookie. Customer files are managed through the upload links provided for the engagement. Contact us if you need a link closed or stored information reviewed or removed.
Your questions and requests
Email octavio@geolink.dev to ask about your information or request deletion. The steps are at www.geolink.dev/en/data-deletion. Your browser lets you restrict cookies and third-party tracking. Blocking them can affect sign-in, forms or payments.
